The five stories in Theme Nine focus on children of different cultures from around the world. There is such a great need for the basics of life, such as food, healthcare, clothing, and supplies which most children in North America take for granted. These stories are sure to open little hearts to the needs of children just like themselves as they learn ways they can share Jesus’ love by showing they care.
All areas of the curriculum; Bible, phonics, reading, writing, fine motor skills, science, and social studies culminate in this unit to finish up the school year having been introduced to all the letters of the alphabet, learning new skills in expressing themselves, and having been exposed to many different cultures and countries around the world. They are learning to be caring individuals to those they interact with every day and those who are hurting or struggling who need to know about Jesus’ love.
