Let’s Be Friends – This 4-week theme emphasizes how important friends are in the students’ lives and explores ways to build rewarding friendships. Learning to enjoy similarities they may have with classmates while appreciating individual differences will make playing and working together a pleasing experience.
Through various activities such as singing, acting, rhyming, and sorting, the students will enjoy learning about taking turns, sharing, and other skills needed to form healthy relationships. There are more activities suggested than you will have time for. Choose a good mix to meet the needs and to give each child an area where they can shine. This is a great way to demonstrate how each person’s strengths and skills can be celebrated.
