Who’s My Neighbor – Beginning with what is most familiar at home and branching out farther and farther into the community. Theme Two introduces the concepts of neighbors, maps, and community helpers. Children will learn what it means to be a good neighbor, taking care of the environment, and showing appreciation to those who serve in their community.

Growth continues in Theme Two with sounds and shapes of letters, fine motor skills, comprehension and creativity. While there are many opportunities to encourage the use of writing implements, forming letters using a variety of sensory experiences will help your Pre-K students cement those shapes and proper formation in their minds.
